Last week I posted my preview for Fishermen’s Terminal. One of the annual events held there is the upcoming Fishermen’s Fall Festival, and it looks like a lot of fun. This year it will take place on Saturday, September 24th from 11 am to 6 pm.
The festival is free to attend though there will be ways to spend your money, like on salmon dinners. For $12 you get salmon, corn on the cob, coleslaw, garlic bread, a beverage, and dessert. Yum! Other seafood choices will be available also, or for those who prefer, $5 hot dog dinners. A beer and wine tasting garden with local selections will be open all day.
Live entertainment will include a variety of bands, taiko drummers, sea shanties, and pirate fun for the kids. Contests include salmon filleting, lutefisk eating, and survival suit races.
Visit the festival website here to get details on the event schedule, food, booths, and parking.
