I’m glad that photography is a driving force behind your getting out and about more. I, also, go a lot more places than I normally would just so I can get more photos (and blog them!). I enjoy many of the city parks in the Phoenix area and they all seem to attract birds, which is my favorite thing to photograph currently.
Yeah, it’s interesting how things that can be separate activities on their own can combine to become something bigger. I have just recently gotten into photographing birds in the last four months and it has become a whole new obsession. Small birds that flit around a lot are really difficult! Tons of fuzzy photos and several bare branches just to get a rare decent photo. It’s fun and frustrating at the same time.
