I’ve been thoroughly enjoying our cooldown over the last two or three weeks after a too hot spring. But warm and sunny weather is headed our way again, so you might soon be looking for ways to cool off, especially if you have kids.

A Couple of Cud Chewers
The theme for the WPC this week is partners: “subjects that are in tune with one another.”
One of the fun things about my visits to my aunt’s place just outside of Ellensburg is driving the surrounding country roads and looking at animals not seen in backyards here in Seattle. This pair of beef cattle seemed perfectly content together on an early August morning.
