I’ve never gone shopping on Black Friday. You couldn’t pay me enough!
Lately I’ve been into making timelapse videos, so I took advantage of a break in the weather to head to Golden Gardens to see if I could get any interesting cloud action.

The densely packed forest of sailboat masts of Shilshole Marina provide an interesting backdrop at Golden Gardens beach. Posted for the WPC with the theme of dense.

Last week was a rough one. Saturday came along and it was stormy with wind and rain, reflecting my mood. The rains stopped before the winds did, so I thought I should take the opportunity to get outside and visit a beach on Puget Sound.

My favorite time of day has always been evening twilight. Photographers call it the blue hour. I call it the watery time, when the sky becomes like a darkening pond overhead. It takes on a quality and color that makes me want to cry from the beauty of it and that I can almost drink in and taste.
This photo was taken in June 2015 at Golden Gardens and is posted for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge with the theme of happy.
