The topic for this week’s Cee’s B&W Photo Challenge is candid photographs. When I was at Mukilteo Lighthouse Park this last November I was struck by this boy on the beach because he looked so pensive.

That’s what I thought. His family was busy playing, collecting beach stuff, throwing rocks in the water, etc., but he was just being quiet, spending a long time sitting and standing on his rock.
