Abstract
The theme for the WPC this week is abstract, and it is perfect timing because I have been playing around with making abstract images with water and rocks recently. I haven’t quite nailed it yet, but this photo is close.
Happiness is Twilight
My favorite time of day has always been evening twilight. Photographers call it the blue hour. I call it the watery time, when the sky becomes like a darkening pond overhead. It takes on a quality and color that makes me want to cry from the beauty of it and that I can almost drink in and taste.

Lost in Thought
The topic for this week’s Cee’s B&W Photo Challenge is candid photographs. When I was at Mukilteo Lighthouse Park this last November I was struck by this boy on the beach because he looked so pensive.
