Floating Choirs

Do you like Christmas music, boats, and parks? You might want to check this out.

Argosy is taking their festively lit boats all over the area with choirs on board to carol for spectators on shore. Several of the stops will be at Seattle parks and the events are free. See this Parkways post for the schedule. The boats will also make stops at places other than city parks and in other cities like Tacoma, Des Moines, Kirkland, and Edmonds. Kirkland Parks

I’m not sure how much, if any, exploring of parks I will be doing on the eastside. A couple days ago I was studying a map, wondering about some of the lakeshore parks in Kirkland. (Maps have a strange power over me and I can get lost in them for hours, even when looking at areas I’m already familiar with.)

With serendipitous timing, I ran across a post from another blogger yesterday about Kirkland parks. She gives a few tidbits of info about several of them.
