With the holidays upon us I can’t help but think about how pretty it is when it snows this time of year, but nothing so far. The mountain peaks didn’t even get any snow until Thanksgiving this year.
So I’m remembering past snows, like this one, to make up for it.
We had a white Christmas here in Seattle this year and it was very pretty. We ended up with about three inches where I live. Thankfully the roads were mostly clear by the time most people were out and about. I woke up early though, so headed off with my camera to the park when it was full dark with snow on the roads. This looks like daylight, but it was actually taken an hour before sunrise. The snow was still falling, but due to the 30 second exposure you can’t see it.
I hope Santa was good to you this year!
