After not leaving the house for three months this winter, I’ve been making the most of several of the sunny days we’ve had more recently, starting the second week in February. I’ve visited twelve different new parks and viewpoints! (Plus I’ve been to some of my regular parks in between.)

Eleven of the twelve I’d never been to before, and the other one I’d only visited briefly once some 30+ years ago. Three of them were outside the Seattle area. Actually, now that I think about it, it’s been thirteen new places, but I already posted the preview for Heritage Park. I’ve been busy!

Seven of the parks are part of my upcoming Lake Washington series. I’ll be covering a string of Seattle lakeshore parks stretching between the 520 Bridge and Seward Park.

It’s going to take me a while to finish sorting through a billion images and get the previews written up, so in the meantime here are teaser photos for six of the places I’ve been.
