In early January I was returning home from Kent when I saw this freeway ramp bathed in the golden glow of the setting sun and couldn’t resist capturing it. About two minutes later the sun was gone.
I think this was the only completely clear and sunny day we’ve had this entire dreary month. (Cee’s Which Way Challenge.)
Golden hour is upon us. Wonderful photo for this week. π

We really do! Usually we get a cold snap in January with some clear days. Even though my face freezes off I love going to beach parks in that weather. The mountains look spectacular with their snow coats. But mostly just gray and rain this year. (I keep missing the few sun breaks we’ve had.) Though I suppose we have to be careful griping. Come August I’ll be begging for a rainy day. π
