Thanks! I was there for about 45 minutes and didn’t see any of the four or five herons nearest to me catch anything. So I hope they nabbed a snack when I was looking in another direction or that’s a lot of hungry herons.

Me too. But I haven’t been lucky enough to see one catch anything yet! (Herons have way more patience than I do.)

Once I managed to get a photo of a heron and when I looked at it, the heron had a fish in its beak! It was wonderful.
